How it's calculated

Order total = item price + shipping charged + gift wrap.

Transaction fee = order total × 6.5%.

Processing fee = (order total + tax) × 3% + $0.25.

Offsite Ads fee = order total × the chosen rate, max $100.

Listing fee = $0.20 when checked.

Each fee is rounded to the cent before adding.

On a full refund, Etsy returns the transaction, processing, and Offsite Ads fees. The listing fee is refunded only if you cancel the order. Your loss includes outbound and return shipping, and the item cost if it can't be resold.

Not included: Etsy Ads, Share & Save, currency conversion fees, or income tax.
